Giving back to Landmark

As said before, I graduted from Landmark College. This is a very very special college. It's the only acredited college that accepts only students with Learning Disibilities. It's also the most equiped College to deal with students with learning disibilites. There are so many accomidations, and you learn so much about yourself and how to succeed in school. There are so many people who enter into that school who have been labled all of their lives because of their learning Disibilities, who never dream of graduating from any college or getting good grades, who have never been part of a real comuninty of people who share the same stories and stuggles as they do. Though the real beauty of that school are the amazing students who go there, who are unlike any group of people i've ever met, the facilty and staff are very special too. There's so much individual attention you get there! Which i'd say is sorly needed for LD students. They take an integrated approach to learning and help you figure out your learning style and stragities to cope with your LD. You learn such valuable information that you can apply not only to the schools which you attend after you graduate, but also to the workplace you eventually enter into. Ultimatly, I want to give back to Landmark becuase landmark needs to keep going and grow bigger and more sustainable. It's a young school (only 20 years old) It's also a very small school (only about 450 students). It's always having budget problems and often relies on alumni donations to help balence it's budget.
